Thank you for visiting the Acadiana Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM) website. As an affiliate of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), we are a non-profit professional association of human resource professionals focused on serving the Acadiana business community.
We have three primary goals:
1. Support the continued business growth in Acadiana
2. Serve the human resource professionals
3. Advance the human resource profession
We accomplish these goals by providing educational opportunities, networking events, and educating the business community on the profession. Currently we have over 190 members representing over 120 Acadiana area businesses.

ASHRM's Bi-Annual Salary, Benefits, and HR Practices Survey Results
The Acadiana Society for Human Resource Management’s (ASHRM) semi-annual salary, benefits and Human Resource (HR) practices survey results for 2007 is now available. ASHRM has conducted this survey for over 20 years and it is the only area-wide comprehensive survey of its kind. The results provide valuable knowledge about the specific compensation, benefits, and HR practices in our local area. This year, 48 organizations participated in the survey including such organizations as Air Logistics, CH Fenstermaker, Fugro Chance, IBERIABANK, Teche Federal, Bollinger Shipyard, Lafayette Consolidated Government, Petroleum Helicopters, Haliburton, Stone Energy, Baker Oil Tools, NATCO, Stuller Inc., The Daily Advertiser, Southwest Medical Center, The Schumacher Group, and more.
