The deadline for nominations is November 22nd.
Nominations will be reviewed by the below criteria and accomplishments and voted on by a selection committee appointed by the ASHRM Board of Directors
Nominations must be made by a peer, colleague, or manager;
Must be an active ASHRM member in good standing. National SHRM membership is preferred, but not required;
Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SHRM Specialty Credential, aPHR, PHR, SPHR, GPHR is preferred, but not required.
Equivalent education and/or experience is equally as important as certification;
Contributions that he/she has made to your organization within the last three years which has progressed the company's HR strategy;
Contributions that he/she has made to the education of HR professionals or future professionals through classroom instruction, professional training and development activities, and /or as a mentor;
Contributions to the overall body of HR knowledge (publications, white pages, web sites, etc.);
Volunteer roles that he/she has either participated or coordinated for your organization or in the community.
The award winner will be announced at our annual ASHRM Social on December 12th. The award recognition will be made by submission of a photo to local media outlets and a commemorative plaque. The winner will win a trip for the 2020 SHRM National Conference held in San Diego in June 2020 (not to exceed a total value of $2,500 for reasonable travel, hotel and registration expenses).
All nominees will be asked to submit a summary of their accomplishments and contributions to the profession in 2019.
