Recognizing Professional Excellence in ASHRM Members
RISE Award Nomination Criteria
A peer, colleague or manager may nominate an active member of Acadiana SHRM for accomplishment in one or more of the RISE areas of excellence. Nominations should be based on recent achievements or contributions in the last three years. RISE Award Winners are entered into a gift card drawing, recognized at a monthly meeting and eligible for consideration of Acadiana SHRM’s HR Professional of the Year award.
The RISE Award recognizes professionals who:
Reach for a higher level of development, knowledge or expertise. Accomplishments may include earning a certification credential, diploma/advanced degree or successfully completing an industry specific curriculum.
Inspire other HR professionals through mentoring, coaching, or education.
Succeed in accomplishing a large work initiative. Examples may include successful mergers, new software implementations, or receiving a promotion and expanded responsibilities.
Elevate the HR profession. Activities may include participation in community events, providing HR council to a local business, serving as a media contact, publication or other contributions that advance Acadiana SHRM’s goal of being the voice of HR in the community.
RISE Award winners are selected from nominations received each month. Gift card winners are randomly drawn on a quarterly basis
