MEET THE SPEAKER(S)

Damian P. Simoneaux, CSP, brings 31 years of experience and expertise to his role as Safety Services Manager at LWCC, Louisiana’s largest workers’ comp provider. In his role, Damian leads a team of Safety Service Professionals dedicated to fostering a culture of safety among the organization’s 20,000+ policyholders, which include industries such as oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and people services. Prior to his current role, Damian earned a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology from Northeast Louisiana University (ULM) and worked as the safety director for an insulation and asbestos removal company in addition to conducting industrial hygiene surveys. Damian is a current member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and has been in a leadership role for the Acadiana Chapter for the last 20 years. He is currently a member of the AASCIF Safety and Health Committee.

Evan Canzoneri has over 14 years of workers’ compensation insurance experience. Working as a Senior Level Claims Representative and as a Safety Consultant with LWCC, Louisiana’s largest workers’ compensation insurance provider. Prior to his current role, Evan earned his BSBA in Finance, Insurance and Risk Management from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Evan is also a current member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).
